WriteHuman lets you watch the writing of any Google Doc from start to finish. This Chrome extension loads the video substantially faster than other playback Google Doc revision history tools. With WriteHuman, you can gain transparency into the writing process, whether you want to monitor AI usage or ensure adherence to specific rules.
By installing the plugin and clicking "Load replay," you can easily watch a video of the writing process within seconds. Genuine authorship is easily distinguishable from slowly typing out a piece of writing from another screen, as it shows movement to different sections of the document, backspacing, deletions, and rewrites. WriteHuman provides a comprehensive view of these authorship behaviors.

To use WriteHuman, simply install the extension, open a Google document you have edit access to, and click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar. From there, you can load and view replays of the writing process.
WriteHuman prioritizes data privacy and collection. The extension does not collect personal data, and all fetched data is stored locally on your computer. If you choose to share a replay, only raw changes data is uploaded, and it is assigned a random link for sharing. Shared replays are automatically deleted after 30 days.
